HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY MAX!

Wow!  Max is four!  We had a very fun, almost a week-long, birthday celebration filled with parties, three different cakes, a trip to Toys R Us, lots of phone calls, birthday cards in the mail and too many, although much appreciated and much played with, presents.

Of course Max wanted a Superhero party.  We invited a few friends and had lots of fun!  Max was so happy!
(Cake #1)

We took cupcakes to playgroup.
(Cake #2)

Max and his Bumblebee (that I spend a lot of time out of my day transforming back and forth...that thing is big, but I guess it's my own fault for buying it for him!)

The third and last cake.

What can I say about Max?  We always hoped our kids would be great, but Max has far exceeded our hopes.  He is such a fun and funny, happy, smart, creative, loving, patient, forgiving, helpful, talented, thoughtful and just a good boy.  We love you Max!

Funny Girls!

Here's just a few pictures of the girls recently.

I love this one of Payton and Neil.  The girls love playing with Daddy and they now recognize when the garage door opens and run to the back door screaming excitedly for Dad!

This is what Ellie does every time she sleeps.  She loves this blanket that our friend, Leisel Payzant made and sticks her fingers through the holes as she falls asleep...too bad her hands are getting bigger and she now wakes up with red indents on all her fingers!

Next up:  Max's Birthday!  So stay tuned!

Beckham Max

Here are the highlights from Max's last soccer game.  He really did improve throughout the season even though most of his goals were for the other team.  He's got a good little jog though!

When dad's away...

...Mom doesn't care where the kids sleep.

Neil was gone late and the girls just kept playing and jabbering in their room and wouldn't go to sleep, so I dumped them in the same crib and let them play.  This is how they ended up...about an hour later.
Max fell asleep like this as I was doing something on the computer...probably looking at blogs!
