Costumes!

I love halloween in Vegas! We've already been to four halloween events and we've still got at least two more before it's even actually halloween!
Here's this year's costumes...
Little Red Riding Hood Ellie and Payton the Cute Little Wolfie (at least that's what she thinks)! I love this picture, you can just see their personalities so well! This is just about how Payton looked when at one trunk they put a coupon for a free frosty in her bucket, and she looked up at me and said "Hey, me have a paper!?!" with a half confused/half disgusted look on her face.
Luigi Max and his best buddy Mario Lucas!

New Photos, for real.

Some young women in our stake did a photo shoot fundraiser. We got some great pics of the kids,
here are my favorites...

Backtracking...

I was just commenting on my sister's blog that I've been looking at the same picture on her blog since July! Then I started feeling guilty about my own lack of new posts, so I thought I better put something on here. Then I realized that I don't have any new pictures. I think we've been busy, but I have no pictures to prove it. So here you go...these pictures were taken back in June when we were in Utah having "Three Days O' Fun" with the Salt Lake Connect Pass. Go here if you want to find out more about it.
I have also been impressed by everyone's new family pictures that seem to be posted everywhere! So I thought I should put up a couple of ours...not great portraits, but I do love us in the hats!

First Days of School

Oh my, can you believe Max is in Kindergarten?!? He loves it and when we went for the open house last week Max cried when we had to leave. He begged and begged me to let him ride the bus the first day, but I told him that moms like to take their kids to school the first day. As we were waiting for the bus today (the second day) he looked up at me with his big toothless grin and said "I'm so excited!" Here are the pictures to prove it!

The second day of school (and no we didn't plan to match the bus, we just got lucky!)

June, July and August...

Well, we did lots of fun stuff this summer and unfortunately you don't get to see them because I'm too lazy/buzy to blog them. Here is the recap: We went to Utah and got the city pass and had three days of fun doing pretty much everything there is for kids to do in Salt Lake, we had a fun fourth of july letting off "illegal" fireworks with our friends, we celebrated Neil's birthday, we took a weekend trip to St. George and Cedar City and went on some fun hikes, I had a great time on a trip to visit my brother in Boston (leaving the kids home with Neil for five days!), the kids and I went to Utah for almost two weeks (leaving Neil at home to recuperate/do church stuff/watch movies), spent fun times with the family playing games and especially going to Cowabunga Bay (which the kids still talk about every day!). Whew, we had a fun summer. Each of these events are worthy of their own post, but...SORRY. Here's a few pics:
