Fun with Grandma and Grandpa Mano

We have been spoiled with visitors lately. We had a great time when Grandma and Grandpa Mano came with Landon. We went swimming at the Golden Nugget, the pool surrounds a shark tank and has a 3 story water slide that goes through the tank. It was pretty cool and Max dominated the water slide several times.
Grandma is so much nicer than mom, she'll actually play hide and seek.
And Grandpa filled up the swimming pool with warm water by running the kitchen faucet out the window!
And we went to Freemont Street for a little bit of sight seeing and people watching.

Disneyland Installment #2: Max

Max had a great time at Disneyland of course, this year his favorite ride was splash mountain! He was also able to ride Indiana Jones for the first time, and second, third, and fourth times too. We only had to stuff a little bit of padding into his shoes to get him on!
A highlight was Max being picked for the Jedi Training Academy. He jumped up and down screaming with his hands in the air for almost 10 minutes, but was rewarded with being the last kid picked! He was a good padowan, he fought Darth Vader and received his Jedi certificate. I was super glad that Max got picked the first time so we didn't have to go back to try again!

Disneyland Installment #1: The Girls

All week long Payton and Ellie were talking about Mickey, Minnie and Donald Duck. The first thing they saw when we got there was Minnie Mouse. Well, you can see from the picture how much they enjoyed her! We were just glad that we wouldn't have to waste time waiting in line for characters all day!
They enjoyed the inanimate characters much better! Payton actually gave Lighting McQueen a hug and kiss as she walked away.
Pocahontas was so sweet and pretty, but still this was as close as either of them would get to her! (Payton)
The girls were very cute in their minnie mouse hats (thanks Grandma Mano!)
And thanks to Grandma Woolf for the Donald Ducks! They talked and talked about Donald Duck and when Grandma gave these to them they just hugged them and kissed them!

Disneyland Teaser...

We went to Disneyland last week and had a great time! This is the picture to prove it! That's Neil, Phil, Nathan and Max and it may look like it, but that's NOT me in front of Max although her face is pretty good too. Max is so hilarious in this picture that Phil had to buy it! The longer you look at it the funnier it gets.
Stay tuned for more pictures (when I get around to it!)
